GLENHOPE - LORENZO

Glenhope and Lorenzo are currently in a state of natural revegetation under the care of Nari Nari Tribal Council.

 

Further projects are planned for this country by NNTC.

Six photographic monitoring points are located across Nari Nari lands to document the changing landscape.  The picture taken below in 2002 shows the devastating effects of overgrazing and drought.  As can be seen in the lower picture, with just minimal rainfall and the complete exclusion of all stock, by 2005 the land has begun to heal itself.
